ACCOMMODATION: HOTEL

SURF ACTIVITIE: SURFGUIDING (Level 2)

Surfguiding of 4 hours a day on board the Oceanside Van
Minimum 2 clients
Small groups of up to 5 clients
Surf equipment: Surfboard (evolutive or advanced) and wetsuit (Quiksilver or Roxy)
Fruit and water
Accident and liability insurance
Video recording *

(*) Only if the surf guide feels it is safe to leave clients alone in the water

EQUIPMENT RENTAL: SOFTBOARD AND WETSUIT

Free during surfguiding days until school closing time (for reservations of 3 or more surfguide days)

Advanced

Not having recently suffered any injury.
Have completed, as a minimum, an initiation course and a improver surf course of 10 hours.
Have surfed a minimum of 50 hours in the last 6 months.
Know and respect the basic rules of safety and surfing etiquette.
Theoretical knowledge about the material and the marine environment.
Good physical condition to endure a session of an hour and a half with medium-sized waves. (tchest high)
Paddling centered over an evolutive surfboard (epoxy evolutive), with the chest slightly raised and the legs together. (watch video)
Being able to reach the outer break by dodging the whistewashes using the technique known as the turtle. (watch video)
Being able to catch waves without help.
Being able to perform the take off and surf in small waves (waist high) without falling. (watch video)
Being able to control fear in medium-sized waves. (chest high)
